WHAT IS ZEN
Zen is a practice of Buddhism, a philosophy of life, and a spiritual
practice. At the Forest
Way Zen no one is excluded and people find it easy to learn
and to practice meditation. We will teach you to sit on cushions or
in a chair so you get the most out of meditation. Zen is easy to learn
and most people are able to practice without much effort after one
introductory session. You can choose to come to the Zen evening or to a
mindfulness meditation day.
Meditation Sittings in the Doonan Zendo for 2014
Monday 1.00pm -2.30pm.
Forest Way Zen will commence a new daytime Zen group on the 7 th July 2014.
This group, open to all students new and old, is designed to enable
people who want to extend their practice to come to another Zen meeting
each week and to help people who find it difficult to attend nighttime

pm Zen Buddhist Meditation
Thursday 1 pm – 3 pm Mindfulness Meditation Support
This group is in recess for the month of July
and new classes will commence the First Thursday in August. For a place
